SPLAT OUT!!!

Re: SPLAT OUT!!!
I think we should keep David Moyes.

He is a very good manager and has done an excellent job at West Ham apart from this temporary bad spell.

We will finish mid table and next season will be pushing for Europe again.

I know most of you will disagree with me, but you're all fickle cunts who know fuck all about fuck all.

Temporary bad spell a whole year FMOB

Re: SPLAT OUT!!!
Yeah, a bad spell.

He hasn't suddenly forgotten everything he previously knew about football management has he?

If we fucked him off he'd walk straight into another PL job.

He hasn't and never will, which is why his outdated boring shit tactics need replacing

Leonard Hatred 5:21 Sun Feb 5
Re: SPLAT OUT!!!
If there was an obvious replacement available I might agree, but there isn't.

I think he's got enough credit in the bank for the job he's done so far, and I reckon he can turn it around.

Top half (at least) next season.

Stand on me

Re: SPLAT OUT!!!
The last 3 games have been decent performances and didn't look like a team whose manager has "lost the dressing room".

Mid table finish.

Re: Moyes In
A few months ago on the Moyes out thread I said I'd judge him at the end of the season. A week or two back it didn't look like that would be anything but retrospectively. Now it looks like he will still be here. Whether I'll vote in or out I still ain't sure.

Just one thought that occurs to me Liverpool like West Ham have been through a process of team changes the result like West Ham they have dropped about 10 places in the League.

Re: Moyes In
In 2023 we've had 3 wins, 2 draws, 1 defeat.

That's not bad.

We've turned the corner.

This season has been a bit shit but it's not the unmitigated disaster some of the doommongers on here would love to believe it to be.

MOYES IN.

Re: Moyes In
Looks like he has rode out the storm.

Keeping players fit is key now, if we have the likes of Antonio, Bowen, Scamacca, Ings, Rice, Aguerd and Paquetta fit we should have more than enough to stay up.

Re: Moyes In
West Ham ain't going down.

No chance.

No way.

Not on your fucking Nellie.

Re: Moyes In
In 2023 we've had 1 win in 4 league games, and 2 wins in our last 10 league games if we include results from last few months of 2022.

As LH said "That's not bad."

Leonard Hatred 6:37 Sun Feb 5
Re: Moyes In
If you include "the last few months of 2022" then it's not IN 2023 is it?

The entire point was recent form since the beginning of 2023.

Thanks for your input though.

You tried your best.

cheesebgt 6:44 Sun Feb 5
Re: Moyes In
I started by saying we've had 1 win in 4 league games in 2023.

Which you think isn't that bad.

Leonard Hatred 6:47 Sun Feb 5
Re: Moyes In
Form has IMPROVED.

You can't argue with that.

There has been IMPROVEMENT.

Re: Moyes In
As I said, the season has been a bit shit but it'll turn out...not "well", but not completely shite.

Re: Moyes In
The board will assume they’ve made the right move by keeping him.

I said on the match thread that it feels like we’re slowly getting back to what’s acceptable.

Beating Chelsea would be a big result.

Leonard Hatred 7:10 Sun Feb 5
Re: Moyes In
They have made the right move.

We'll avoid defeat against Chelsea, then go on a good run.

Stand on me.

Re: Moyes In
We will defeat Chelsea by two goals to one.
